Practitioner Certification: The Starting Point for Your Certification Journey

WSO2 certification gives you a chance to prove your knowledge of WSO2 Products. WSO2 Training and Certification has been running the Developer and Expert certifications for the past 5 years and we have over 2000 Developer and 83 Expert certified professionals. This year we introduced the Practitioner certification which is a stepping stone for developers interested in beginning their certification journey with WSO2.

Practitioner certification is NOT a mandatory prerequisite for Developer certification but here are some reasons why you can take the Practitioner certification exam anyway: 

1. You are a Developer who is new to WSO2 products and would like to learn more about these technologies and obtain a certification. 
2. You have been working with WSO2 products for a while but have been hesitant to try out the Developer certification but would like a chance to prove your expertise.
3. You are a student wanting to explore new technologies.
4. You belong to a Partner company and require certifications to upgrade/maintain your partner status.

Currently, we have the following Practitioner exams available:

WSO2 Certified API Manager Practitioner - V4 - Micro Integrator Profile

WSO2 Certified API Manager Practitioner - V4 - API Management Profile

WSO2 Certified Identity Server Practitioner - V5

All Practitioner exams have a duration of 90 minutes and consist of 30 multiple choice questions. The questions are relatively simple and basic and in order to take these tests, you simply need to have gone through the prerequisite training material and do not require extensive experience with the product. You can try out the sample questions under each Practitioner Certification link provided above to get an understanding of the questions you will face during the exam. The examination cost is $20 but if you belong to a partner organization, we do have some special offers for you.
