Nature of microservices is that it does not fit with traditional data architectures. Most technical guides about microservices recommends to have private data per microservice, but there are many challenges when implementing this. Data and data access technologies already exists in most enterprises and gets updated by multiple systems. Therefore, redefining the data layer is only practical for the new projects that do not require sharing data with existing applications.
