WSO2 API Control Plane
i A unified control plane that centrally manages and governs APIs across multiple gateways. WSO2 API Control Plane is part of the Enterprise Package. This is used as the unified control plane for all types of gateways including the Universal Gateway, Kubernetes Gateway, Immutable Gateway, and Federated Gateways. WSO2 Universal Gateway
i Secures and proxies API traffic with enterprise-grade features. WSO2 Classic Gateway (Universal) is part of the Enterprise Package and works with the WSO2 API Control Plane and WSO2 Traffic Manager together. See the documentation for more information.
WSO2 Traffic Manager
i Handles API traffic policies and rate limiting at high volumes. WSO2 Traffic Manager is part of the Enterprise Package and works with the WSO2 API Control Plane and WSO2 Classic Gateway (Universal) only. It is used as a regulator for API traffic and features a dynamic throttling engine to process throttling policies in real-time, including rate limiting of API requests.
