WSO2 to Present Workshops on Enterprise Identity and API Management in London and Rome

Half-day interactive workshops will explore how to implement IAM and API management reference architectures with WSO2 API Manager and WSO2 Identity Server

Mountain View, CA – September 22, 2014 – Today, the cloud, APIs and Internet of Things (IoT) offer new opportunities for bringing enterprises, their customers and partners together. However, these technology developments bring challenges around protecting privacy and the security of data and other assets. WSO2 will present two workshops that examine how organizations can take advantage of WSO2 API Manager and WSO2 Identity Server to strengthen their identity and access management (IAM) and API management practices.

The half-day “Enterprise Identity and API Management” workshops will be held in two cities:

Optimizing Enterprise Identity and API Management

The workshop explore the overall landscape and reference architectures for Identity and API management and then focus on understanding how to best use WSO2 products to implement these in an organization.

The workshop will begin by examining the benefits and challenges of exposing APIs. It then will review a reference architecture for API management based on the OAuth2 open authorization standard. Next, the session will cover the enterprise identity management landscape, including single sign-on (SSO), entitlement, and federated IAM, along with approaches for enabling API, Web and mobile application security.

The session will conclude by discussing how organizations can tailor WSO2 API Manager and WSO2 Identity Server for multi-tenancy, white labeling, and monetization opportunities.
