WSO2 Digital Team Internship Program

At WSO2, we’re passionate about helping the next generation of tech leaders discover their potential. Our internship program offers a chance to learn, contribute, and grow while working with real technologies, solving real problems, and engaging with the open-source community.

WSO2 Digital Team leads the effort to modernize how we work as an organization. Our team designs and builds innovative digital solutions that power internal operations and enhance experiences for employees, partners, and customers alike.

Eligibility Criteria

This internship program is open to all students, but the application process differs depending on your university's placement process:

  • If your university does not have an internship program monitored by NAITA: You are welcome to apply directly through this application.
  • If your university does have an internship program monitored with NAITA: Please follow your university’s official placement procedure instead of applying directly.
  • Only applicants with no previous work experience will be eligible to apply.

Your First Steps Before You Apply

To ensure our interns are passionate and proactive, we require candidates to complete a set of contributions worth at least 3 points before applying. These tasks are designed to give you hands-on experience with WSO2 products, and to demonstrate your skills, curiosity, and initiative.

You can earn points by completing one or more of the following:

Fix documentation issues in any WSO2 product and send a PR (must be merged).

Write a missing test case and submit a PR (must be merged). Candidates are expected to identify gaps themselves. 1 point per PR
Fix a bug in any of our products. Check open issues in our GitHub repos.

2 points per bug fix
Write a blog post about a WSO2 product, a feature, or the problems it solves. 1 point per post
Answer community questions on Discord or Stack Overflow. Answers must be verified as successful or should be accepted by the community. 1 point per answer
Record a short video (3–5 mins) introducing a WSO2 product or a feature. 1 point per video
Use a WSO2 product in a real-world project or solution. 2 points per project
Complete the practitioner-level certification of any WSO2 product. 2 points per certification
