WSO2 Technology Executives to Present Dubai Workshop on Building a Connected Business With WSO2 Cloud and Enterprise Middleware

Workshop on October 22, will examine how to seamlessly integrate people, processes and data across an extended value chain using the cloud, APIs and mobile applications

An Eco System Platform for a Connected Business

A connected business seamlessly integrates people, process, and data across an extended value chain, decreases interaction cost, and automatically adapts business activity in response to market events. Connected businesses grow revenue and outperform peers by increasing customer engagement, enhancing productivity, and seizing market opportunity. This session, which runs from 2:00 pm – 3:30 p.m., will show how a connected business can be created using the cloud, APIs and mobile apps to change the way businesses work.

Becoming an API Centric Enterprise

API management is a fundamental building block of a connected business. This session, which runs from 4:30 pm – 6:00 p.m., will examine and demonstrate how the WSO2 API Manager product, as well as other components of the cloud-enabled WSO2 Carbon enterprise middleware platform, can be used to connect external and internal partners to the enterprise in a secure, reliable and controlled way. Additionally, this session will describe several use cases, which are already deployed by WSO2 customers around the globe.

Workshop Presenters

WSO2Mobile CEO and Founder Harsha Purasinghe is a serial entrepreneur who has founded three software companies and a number of successful products since his debut in the software industry at the age of 19. He founded Microimage in 1993, and in 2007, Microimage Mobile Media. In 2013, Harsha founded WSO2Mobile to build a suite of lean, enterprise mobileware to solve enterprise mobility challenges. This was incorporated as a fully owned subsidiary of WSO2 Inc., the leading open source middleware company. Harsha has won many awards for leadership and entrepreneurship.

WSO2 Director of Product Management Isabelle Mauny leads the WSO2 Madrid office and focuses on enhancing the company’s middleware products, platforms and solutions to maximize customer value. Isabelle brings more than 18 years of technology, consulting and management experience in Java, application development, middleware, and SOA, through her roles at IBM and Vordel. Additionally, Isabelle is a published author and regular speaker on the topics of system administration, application development, and programming.
