WSO2 to Present Webinar on Enterprise Integration Best Practices with WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus

Webinar will examine how to implement common enterprise integration patterns, and integrate with FIX, HL7, SAP, Twitter, Apache ActiveMQ, and Apache Qpid using WSO2 ESB

Palo Alto, CA – January 29, 2014 – Today, the enterprise service bus (ESB) is at the heart of most enterprise-grade service-oriented architecture (SOA) deployments—removing point-to-point dependencies in a system and enabling organizations to build a highly scalable, loosely coupled solution. To facilitate this effort, WSO2 will present a webinar on how to optimize enterprise integration and SOA deployments using WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus (WSO2 ESB).

The one-hour technical webinar, “Enterprise Integration with WSO2 ESB,” will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2014, from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. For more information, visit https://wso2.com/library/webinars/2014/02/enterprise-integration-with-wso2-esb.

Enterprise Integration with WSO2 ESB

The webinar will be led by Prabath Siriwardena, author of the book, “Enterprise Integration with WSO2 ESB.” Prabath will examine the essentials to get started with WSO2 ESB and solve the most common integration problems. He also will cover the most widely used enterprise integration patterns, including content-based router, dynamic router, splitter, aggregator, scatter and gather, publish and subscribe, detour, service chaining, content enricher, and message broker.

Additionally, Prabath will take attendees through how to deploy WSO2 ESB in a production setup and explain how to:

  • Implement commonly used enterprise integration patterns with WSO2 ESB.
  • Integrate WSO2 ESB with Apache ActiveMQ and Apache Qpid Message Brokers.
  • Integrate with WSO2 ESB with business messaging systems using standards, such as the Financial Information eXchange (FIX) protocol and Health Level Seven (HL7) interface.
  • Connect an SAP system to a wider SOA infrastructure from WSO2 ESB.
  • Connect to Twitter from WSO2 ESB.

Prabath Siriwardena, WSO2 director of security, previously chaired the WSO2 Integration Technologies Management Committee. He is a member of the OASIS Identity Metasystem Interoperability (IMI) Technical Committee (TC), OASIS XACML TC, and OASIS Security Services (SAML) TC. Prabath is also a member of the Apache Axis Project Management Committee (PMC). He has delivered talks at numerous international conferences.
