WSO2 Partner Open Day 2021: Winning Together!

We’ve come a long way since our inception back in 2005. Our corporate head office moved to Santa Clara California and our R&D hub in Colombo Sri Lanka has grown to 400+ developers. With physical offices in New York, São Paulo, London, Berlin, and Sydney (with two more coming up in Dubai and Mumbai), and having appointed distributors in Mexico, France and Italy, we are now a $55M company with 800+ employees.

Our partner network has grown to 185+ partners in 75 different countries over the past decade. And we have no intentions of slowing down either! In fact, we are hungry for more success—by entering into new markets and capturing market share. We want to invite our partners to come to the table to share in that success.

To grow our partner network, we conducted a Partner Open Day on 26 May 2021, introducing WSO2 to systems integrators and resellers in Europe. Our aim was to share insights on how resellers and systems integrators can capture market opportunities with our technology, how they can win new business with our integration and identity platforms, and show where WSO2 can take them in terms of growing their business and helping customers. 

Jonathan Marsh (VP Strategy), Charndika Arthanayake (VP & Acting Head of Integration BU), Geethika Cooray (VP & Head of IAM BU), Chris Davey (Senior Director - Solutions Architecture), and Johann Nallathamby (Associate Director - IAM Solutions Architecture) discussed what we have done using our extensible open source technology and what more our potential partners can do for their customers by using our platform.

Some key takeaways from the discussion:

  • The opportunity for a systems integrator to get up to 7X services revenue by positioning WSO2’s cost-effective, integrated platform—which can be deployed on-prem and on the cloud.
  • The increased agility and 10X user experience that customers can get through WSO2’s API-led integration platform.
