LA POSTE BSCC API Management: Enhancing Observability, Security, and Quality of IS

La Poste has embraced an API-first architecture for the past six years, significantly improving the time-to-market for new postal services. Now, we are leveraging our API management assets to enhance the security and observability of our IS. In this session, Jean-Marc Dagorne and Ian Swindley will share real-world examples of how log data generated by the platform is utilized by administrators and IT users to drive improvements in quality, security, and performance.

He ensures that the selected solutions meet the quality of service, technical requirements, and economic considerations, while promoting an agile work environment and sustainable IT for his team.

Ian Swindley is an Innovation Engineer and Security Champion at La Poste, where he has been a key member of the APIM team since its inception in 2017. With extensive experience in API management, he supports sensitive clients by guiding them through best practices, handling complex support cases, and resolving incidents. Ian also plays a crucial role in security-related matters, collaborating closely with the CISO’s team and managing network flow requests when necessary.
