Akram is a Senior Software Engineer and based in our office in Colombo. Previously, Akram worked as an intern at WSO2.
He was responsible for designing and developing the Confirmation of Payee API, a financial REST API for the Open Banking solution which validates the payee’s information before the payment process.
Akram has a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from the University of Westminster, UK. For his final year project, he developed a Visual Question Answering interface for the visually impaired which enabled them to ask open-ended questions based on captured images.
Akram enjoys playing/watching cricket and eating street food. He also considers sleeping to be his superpower and sharing memes as his hobby.
