About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join WSO2 as a Technical Writer Intern. You’ll work on real documentation tasks, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and create content that helps users effectively understand and work with our products. If you're curious about technical communication, eager to learn, and ready to dive into open-source technologies, we’d love to hear from you.

Preferred Qualifications
This opportunity is open to anyone with an education background in computer science or a related area, interested in technical writing—whether you're an undergraduate, a recent graduate, or someone exploring a career change into technical communication. We are looking for:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to grasp technical concepts
- Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and willingness to learn.

Your First Steps Before You Apply
To ensure our interns are passionate and proactive, we require candidates to complete a set of contributions worth at least 3 points before applying. These tasks are designed to give you hands-on experience with WSO2 products, and to demonstrate your skills, curiosity, and initiative.

| Complete the practitioner-level certification of any WSO2 product. | 2 points per certification |
Important Notes
- All PRs must be merged before your application is submitted.
- Contributions must be original, well-documented, and technically accurate.
- There is no limit on how many tasks you can complete—but at least 3 points are required to apply.

Internship Duration and What Happens Next
This internship runs for a fixed period of 6 months, on a full-time basis. At the end of the internship, based on the organization’s needs and the individual’s performance, interns may be offered a full-time role. However, a full-time offer is not guaranteed and is entirely at the discretion of the organization.
