Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne S.A. Kraków (MPK Kraków) serves some 1 million passengers through its fleet of over 350 fuel-powered and electric buses and trams. A total of over 2200 employees operate 137 day bus lines, 8 night bus lines, and 27 tram lines across the city.
MPK Kraków uses the Information System for Vehicle Drivers to facilitate up-to-the-minute Web-based communications between the company and its employees. This WSO2 middleware based solution was developed by OPITZ CONSULTING Polska.
The new system has improved their information flow, communication, management of core services, employee-focus and most importantly, efficiency.
