Throughout her career spanning over 16 years, Seshika has gained extensive experience in providing technology for banks, regulators, and stock exchanges across the globe. As part of these efforts, she has delivered several talks at various WSO2 forums as well as global technology and banking conferences.
In her current role, she is responsible for the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) practice at WSO2 where she specializes in crafting WSO2 technology to best suit the needs of the BFSI sector. Seshika also has extensive expertise in global open banking implementations, where she works closely with banks as well as regulatory bodies in implementing open banking strategies that meet regional and country-specific requirements.
She has a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, and an MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics, UK. She is also a British Chevening Scholar and holds a National patent.
Seshika believes in keeping her mind and body active and feeding her insatiable cravings for anything edible. She describes herself as a ‘true foodie’ and enjoys adventure cycling, reading, traveling, and calligraphy.
