WSO2 Presents Webinar on Using Latest Features in WSO2 Developer Studio to Develop Applications Once and Then Deploy on Servers or in the Cloudd

Webinar will explore how to take advantage of Connectors for WSO2 ESB, ALM with WSO2 App Factory, Apache Maven integration and more with WSO2 Developer Studio 3.5

Palo Alto, CA – January 15, 2014 – Too often, developers face additional complexity created by the need to use multiple development tools to support different deployment scenarios within a service-oriented architecture (SOA). WSO2 will present a webinar on how to address this challenge using new features in WSO2 Developer Studio 3.5, the industry’s first integrated developer environment (IDE) that enables developers to write an application once and then deploy it on servers, in the cloud, or in a hybrid environment.

The interactive session, “Product Release Webinar – WSO2 Developer Studio 3.5,” will be held Thursday, January 23 2013, from 9 a.m.-10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. For more information, visit https://wso2.com/library/webinars/2014/01/product-release-webinar-wso2-developer-studio .

Using WSO2 Developer Studio 3.5 to Facilitate Integration, ALM and More

The webinar will begin with an overview of the WSO2 Developer Studio architecture and core capabilities for developing, deploying, testing and debugging composite applications based on the WSO2 Carbon enterprise middleware platform and WSO2 Private PaaS. Also covered will be how to expose data as a service in a few clicks and manage resources through WSO2 Developer Studio.

The session then will explore how to take advantage of new capabilities in the soon-to-be-released WSO2 Developer Studio 3.5, including:

  • Improved enterprise service bus (ESB) graphical editor to facilitate developing mediation flows.
  • Use of recently introduced WSO2 Connectors in WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus 4.8 to build integrations.
  • Complete tooling support for managing the application development life cycle with WSO2 App Factory—providing the ability to check in, checkout, deploy and view build logs of a WSO2 App Factory application inside a single perspective.
  • Integration with Apache Maven, the open source build manager for Java projects.
  • Web service development with JAX-WS JAX-RS and Axis2.
  • Enhanced security for Web services.
